Welcome to the Broad Oak & Horam Under 9's site for 2008/2009.
Dear Fan Club,Welcome to our new season 2008/2009.This season we move to the Under 9's, lots of new challenges ahead for our squad, bigger pitches, bigger balls, 15 minutes each way (increasing our matches to 30 minutes now), lots more stamina and physical fitness required for our children!We start the season with three teams, 27 players, all now registered with the Crowborough League, we have our Managers all set up and the squads raring to go. This should be an exciting season now playing every two weeks. Each month the Managers will assess each player and decide if we need to make any changes, then this will be discussed with the Parents before any decision is confirmed. Hopefully with this new set up it will enable the players to develop within their skill level and become more confident players and their number of touches on the ball increases.Our season starts on 30/08/2008 with training at Horam 9.45 am for a prompt start at 10.00am until 11.30 am, training clothes, shin pads, boots/trainers, bottle of water and sun cream applied please. The fixtures for the season will be cascaded out as soon as confirmed and the season then commences!!
