07 September 11 - 10:12Training this week

Hi all
Training will be 6 till 7.30 at Tower Req this thursday - I need to bring it forward by half an hour due to light levels
Please can everyone bring their playing kit with them as I need to establish who has got what -shirt - shorts - socks - Peter, I will also need the full keeper kit that I gave Graham as well
Can I also have the blue windstoppers back asap as I need to move them on
I have yet to hear about our first game but will get the details out as soon as
Please remember we have a squad of 15 players so someone will not play the first game - there will be a number of factors that decide who this is and I hope it will not be the same player each week.
It's going to get harder now... please help me support the squad and please stay positive with ALL the players.

23 June 11 - 12:27Sunday trial location change

Hi All,

It seems that this coming Sunday there is a Dog Show at Sheepsetting Lane :( and whilst it would have been really funny to do the trials whilst the show was on I don't think they would have been to happy with me.

With that in mind I will be moving the trials to Tower Rec click here for directions at the same time 10.30 till 12.00am

Sorry for any inconveniance and pls ensure that you forward this on to anyone you have let know about the trials

See some of you tonight :)

Joe

22 June 11 - 13:19Trials for next year

The next 3 sessions for the team will be trials for next year

Thursday 23rd 6.30 till 8.00pm - Sheepsetting Lane (click for link to directions)
Sunday 26th 10.30 till 12.00 - Sheepsetting Lane
Thursday 30th 6.30 till 8.00pm - Sheepsetting Lane

All players are welcome and please forward onto anyone that you think may be interested in having a go and ask them to contact me via email joey.murray@btinternet.com
If you feel at this stage that you will not be with us next year please could you also let me know as soon as possible.
Sam Pollard will not be with us so we will be actively looking for a new keeper.
There will be a no.of exercises to look at different aspects of the players game and we have spread it over three sessions so that we can dispel nerves and see the real players underneath. Each session we will be doing the same exercises, by session two and three the players should feel comfortable with the drills and surroundings.
I can register 20 players next season however I will be looking to run with 15 permanent players and 5 back up options.
13/14 players will be taken to each game with one/two players have a rest week - unfortunately there will be more injuries and more commitments at "Big" School so as the season progresses I would expect the rest option to be come less and less.
Next year we will enter the toughest league we have ever played in and it will mean that right now, I will have to make some tough decisions. I don't expect for one minute that everyone will be happy with my choices. This process will be as fair as i can make it.
Please ask the players to be sure of the positions that they wish to play as this will also be part of the decision making process
I hope this all make sense.
I have also attached our "rules" which will stand for next year as well.
